In order not to be constantly buried in the paperwork, or dirty of mortar, and with the shovel in hand, we sometimes have to do activities that bring joy to our minds and give us strength for the next fight. One nice lazy August morning resulted in the model of a beer delivery tanker truck, which bears the name of our brewery. It is a 100 series Škoda LIAZ, specifically the LIAZ 110.470 successor to the legendary Škoda 706. We firmly believe that one day we will arrange for a real vehicle that will deliver Jajnekem beer.

Our first product, brewed on “big” technology, has matured, so we timidly filled it in kegs and bottles. We gave our creation to our friends to taste it and watched their response. Positive responses prevailed, which gave us that much-needed motivation to further struggle to turn a building on the verge of collapse into a fully functional craft brewery. We have, of course, also listened to the criticisms for which we are equally grateful, as critical opinions have the potential to move things forward and help us improve.

The time has come to break the ice and try to brew the first beer which can be offered to customers. Our production facility is still far from being ready to accommodate that level of brewing. However, we managed to agree on a gypsy brewing in Piešťanský pivovar. We had a recipe prepared for a longer period of time already. Our brewmaster assembled it while tirelessly brewing on our home brewing brewhouse. Speaking of style the beer belongs to APA group of beers or American Pale Ale. Since we decided to fill up the part of the cellar that was in disrepair, we had to fill the door leading to that part of the cellar with concrete filling. We made the formwork and pulled out the mixer. This way we added one of the inherent ingredients to Saturday's village mood. Besides tireless circular saw whirling, urgent rooster screams, and riotous dogs barking it is, of course, tenderly hypnotic mixer rattling. The concrete is already maturing…
