Our first product, brewed on “big” technology, has matured, so we timidly filled it in kegs and bottles. We gave our creation to our friends to taste it and watched their response. Positive responses prevailed, which gave us that much-needed motivation to further struggle to turn a building on the verge of collapse into a fully functional craft brewery. We have, of course, also listened to the criticisms for which we are equally grateful, as critical opinions have the potential to move things forward and help us improve.

First serious brewing

The time has come to break the ice and try to brew the first beer which can be offered to customers. Our production facility is still far from being ready to accommodate that level of brewing. However, we managed to agree on a gypsy brewing in Piešťanský pivovar. We had a recipe prepared for a longer period of time already. Our brewmaster assembled it while tirelessly brewing on our home brewing brewhouse. Speaking of style the beer belongs to APA group of beers or American Pale Ale. Reconstruction I.

Reconstruction of the family house which should give shelter to the brewery has begun. The first phase of reconstruction work is focused on the room which originally served as kitchen. After reconstruction the brewing stand will be housed in this room. Removal of old oil paint which covered kitchen walls approximately as high as 1.5 meters (5 feet) above floor turned out to be the real challenge. Removal of original wall cladding was equally difficult. The work of tilers was apparently honest.

First brewing stand

In late 2014 the brewery expanded its technology arsenal by a homemade gravity brewing stand with a capacity of 40 liters of beer. The brewing stand significantly contributed to production efficiency and also increased the volume of produced beer.
